ส่วนอีกดอกหนึ่งนั้นพระอาจารย์โอได้นำไปใส่ไว้ในกระถางธูปเมื่อสมัยยังอยู่วัดเก่า ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องแปลกที่ว่าเมื่อใดก็ตามที่พระอาจารย์โอจุดธุปปักในกระถางธูปที่มีตะกรุดเสน่ห์ใจขาดอยู่ มักจะมีคนแวะเวียนเข้าวัดตลอดเวลา จนแทบไม่ได้พัก ขนาดที่ว่าพระอาจารย์โอต้องนำบันไดออกจากกุฎิ ตอนอาศัยอยู่บนกุฎิสองชั้นที่วัดเก่า ไม่เช่นนั้นจะมีคนขึ้นมาหาที่กุฎิตลอดเวลา เมื่อพระอาจารย์โอได้ทดลองจนเห็นแล้วว่าตะกรุดเสน่ห์ใจขาดฟ้าศักดิ์สิทธิ์นี้มีพลานุภาพดั่งที่บรรยายไว้ในตำราทุกประการ จึงได้นำตะกรุดออกจากกระถางธูป หลังจากนั้นตะกรุดเสน่ห์ใจขาดดอกนั้นก็ได้สาปสูญไปตั้งแต่บัดนั้นเป็นต้นมา
